FOREST LAWN MOBILE HOME PARK:The park is located two miles east of the booming City of Fort St John with a population of 17,000 and a trading area of over 64,000. Fort St John is the center of oil and gas development in British Columbia. Northern BC’s forestry, agriculture, mining and energy developments are also main resource industries. The park land is 34.5 acres and is all zoned MHP (mobile home park). A portion of the land is in the ALR and when the owners get this portion changed from Rural Resource-Agricultural to Medium Density Residential or Manufactured Home park on the Official Community Plan the property will be removed from the ALR and this is in the process of being done. The park owners have an approved expansion of 20 more pads plus there are 4 pads from the 20 pads approved in 2000 that were never built. The park was started in 1970 and new pads are desperately needed in the area as all parks except one have been full for many years. The City of Fort St John is on record as being against new park development (Forest Lawn and two other parks are in the Regional District) and Forest Lawn is the only park that can be expanded. There are 397 pads in the five parks in Fort St John and area. Forest Lawn currently has 63 pads + 1 RV pad. For an overhead of the park go to maps.goodle.ca/maps and type in7414 Forest Lawn Street then click on the satellite view. The park is on its own wells (high quality) and sewer is by septic tanks to two lagoons. Most of the park has 100amp electrical. There are three contract employees available for an absentee owner. The Premier announced on April 19, 2010 that the site C dam 4.5 miles southwest of Fort St John is going to be built. Information is available on Google and type in Site C dam.

FALCON MANUFACTURED HOME PARK: Located in the Regional District of Comox-Strathcona, population 100,000 www.rdcs.bc.ca and close to the Comox/Courtenay airport. This park of 73 pads is on 15.80 acres and currently all the land is being used. The land is flat and the park is in excellent condition with well laid out pads and roads with two entrances off Ryan Road. Some sections are in trees and the balance cleared.
